The coronavirus pandemic has prompted Pamerindo Indonesia, the organiser of Plastics & Rubber Indonesia, to turn to digital technology in presenting this year’s edition of the exhibition. Taking full advantage of the digital technology, Plastics & Rubber Indonesia 2020 now comes with a Business Matching program. In this program, participants, prospective buyers, and visitors will be brought together on a digital platform that provides information about product and service innovations, such as moulds & dies, injection mouldings, PET stretch blow mouldings machines, screw barrels, granulators, and so on.

Equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI), the platform can automatically 'match' participants and potential clients with their respective backgrounds. In its first virtual business match, Pamerindo will be presenting 100 products, 40 participants from various manufacturing and service companies in related industries with online meetings and video calls that ensure safety for both participants and potential buyers, webinars, and many others.

Visitors who take part in the program can also find out the entire spectrum of technology in the plastics and rubber industry from leading suppliers.

"Pamerindo as the leading trade fair organiser in Indonesia hopes the breakthrough that supported by the Artificial Intelligence network, meeting rooms, exhibitors' windows, and much more will become experiences for industry players in opening business opportunities. We also hope this event will meet industrial needs and encourage economic growth in Indonesia," said Ben Wong, Country General Manager PT Pamerindo Indonesia. Mr. Wong also added that one of the main focuses of the digital showroom are the latest Mould & Die products and technology intended for high-value niche sectors in the Indonesian market.

Collaborating with exhibitors, potential buyers, associations, media outlets, and agencies as well as partners in the technology sector, Mr. Wong is optimistic that this online exhibition will run successfully and become a household name as a B2B online platform for decision-makers, equipment importers, distributors as well as agents.

Plastics & Rubber Indonesia 2020 Business Match is supported by the key players such as Adi Nusa Glory, Bilplast Grapindo, Catur Putra Makmur Sejahtera, Cendrawasih Sejahtera, Hosokawa Alpine Aktiengesellschaft, Kiefel, Kuzey Global, Lohia, Starlinger, Tokoplas, and many more.
